Finally, food post!

After some window shopping with my friends at klcc, we went to Shanghai10 @ Avenue K, a restaurant just like Dragon-i to have dinner yesterday.

Our first dish was Shanghai Double Boiled Soup Dumplings @ RM8. Quite cheap if compared with Dragon-i and Din Tai Fung @ Mid Valley Gardens.

Avacado with Kataifi ~ RM5.8, well i didn’t manage to try this since my friends took it all too fast already. They said that it’s nice.

Shanghai Style La Mian with Crab Roe (RM12.80) - A must try for those who love La Mian.

Peanut and Spicy Sauce La Mian (RM9.80) – I don’t really recommend this dish unless you like the taste of peanut inside your soup. Me and my friends tried it and we’re not used to the taste.

As for dessert, we’ve ordered Durian Pan Cake @ RM5.8. Quite normal if you asked me.

Almond Cream with Snow Frog Jelly (RM8) - My friend said that it tastes quite nice, but i don’t like it because i hate Almond Cream.

Well, I nearly forgot to mention, there’s a set promotion where you get a bowl of La Mian of your choice, chinese tea and this dessert for RM8.80. Really cheap and affordable. If you wanna try out this restaurant, better be fast because i don’t know when the promotion is going to end.

It was my birthday last Thursday which is 4th of March, Alot of friends came to have a surprise party for me to celebrate my birthday. So i was a little bit busy having fun… XD

3rd March – Went out with Yen, TeeKeat and Alexa on the afternoon, then after that went to One Utama to meet with Matthew, Jason, Terry and Wilson at 10pm.

They got a surprise party for me @ TGI Fridays.

And this is the cake they bought for me.

Thank you guys~ But I’m 22 this year lah, not 23… But it’s okay~ =D

After that we went to watch Solomon Kane @ 1AM midnight. Awesome movie!

4th March – Went to my gf’s house in the morning~ She said that she wanted my birthday to be something special so she cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for me on that day~ HouHouSek arr~ Om nom nom nom~~~ =D

Then she got bought me a cake also… This is the picture of the cake~

The cake is nice, but now i got 2 Cakes le… Fat Fat T_______T

Then after that when i went back home, My mom told me that she got me a cake also… OMFG!!! Now i got 3 cakes! How am i gonna finish them all? Shit!! I think I’m gonna gain at least 5kg weiiii!!

Anyway… I start unboxing everything as soon as i got home and this is the pic~

Weee, went to Plus One Shabu Shabu yesterday at One Utama~

There is this Chinese New Year deal until March where 1 set is at RM26.80. Quite expensive for a shabu shabu set if you asked me.

There are alot of ‘buffet’ steamboat nowadays where you can eat anything you like until you’re full, and some even cost cheaper than this set. Lolz…

The Chicken Set… This is what I ordered, It may looked alot of chicken meat in this picture, but the actual thing is not that much.

The Fish Set… Same like above, the fish fillet may look large, but in reality, it is very “thin” and small. Lolz~

The receipt, Omigosh I don’t know the sauce cost me RM2. I forgot to mention, the sauce they put it in the open, so got flies. Geli…

RM71.05 but me and my gf is still not full. Really expensive. =(

If you’re wondering what’s the PU ER tea, well this is it… A very very ordinary “kopitiam” chinese tea but put in a nice jug, So it costs you RM7. =(

A joke for today =D.

Cinderella is now 75 years old. After a fulfilling life with the now dead Prince, she happily sits upon her rocking chair, watching the world go by from her front porch, with a cat named Bob for companionship.

One sunny afternoon, out of nowhere, appeared the Fairy Godmother. Cinderella said “Fairy Godmother, what are you doing here after all these years?”

The Fairy godmother replied, “Cinderella, you have lived an exemplary life since I last saw you. Is there anything for which your heart still yearns?”

Cinderella was taken aback, overjoyed, and after some thoughtful consideration, and almost under her breath she uttered her first wish: I wish I were wealthy beyond comprehension.”

Instantly, her rocking chair was turned into solid gold. Cinderella was stunned. Bob, her old faithful cat, jumped off her lap and scampered to the edge of the porch, quivering with fear.

Cinderella said, “Oh thank you, Fairy Godmother”. ! The Fairy Godmother replied “It is the least I can do. What does your heart want for your second wish?”

Cinderella looked down at her frail body, and said: “I wish I were young and full of the beauty of youth again”. At once, her wish became reality, and her beautiful youthful visage returned. Cinderella felt stirrings inside her that had been dormant for years. A long forgotten vigor and vitality began to course through her.

Then the Fairy Godmother again spoke “You have one more wish, what shall you have?”

Cinderella looks over to the frightened cat in the corner and says,”I wish for you to transform Bob, my old cat, into a kind and handsome young man”.

Magically, Bob suddenly underwent so fundamental a change in his biological make-up, that when complete he stood before her, a man, so beautiful the likes of which neither she nor the world had ever seen,so fair indeed that birds began to fall from the sky at his feet.

The Fairy Godmother again spoke, “Congratulations, Cinderella . Enjoy your new life.”

And, with a blazing shock of bright blue electricity, she was gone.

For a few eerie moments, Bob and Cinderella looked into each other’s eyes.

Cinderella sat, breathless, gazing at the most stunningly perfect man she had ever seen. Then Bob walked over to Cinderella, who sat transfixed in her rocking chair, and held her close in his young muscular arms.

He leaned in close, blowing her golden hair with his warm breath as he whispered, “I bet you regret having me neutered now, don’t you?”

This is another Ip Man movie, don’t get confused with the one that have Donnie Yen, this is not Ip Man 2.

New York New York Deli~ I did mentioned that I went to eat at this place in my previous post – Click Here

Somehow I found that the menu is quite cute. It wrote “the ‘little’ black book”, then after that, “maybe not so ‘little’ after all”. Lolz… Really got alot of choices inside. From all-day-breakfasts, to pasta, sandwiches, gourmet coffee, burgers, pizzas, steaks, waffles and even fondues.

Anyway I did order Mini Cheese Fondue (RM12.90) ~ The cheese fondue is really nice but i forgot to take picture of it… Silly me =(

Root Beer Float With Vanilla Ice Cream @ RM7.90 – Something normal like A&W float but somehow my girlfriend says that it tastes a little more sweeter than A&W float.

Roasted Mushroom Cappuccino @RM6.90 – This soup “HouHouYam” arghhh~ Cream of roasted mushrooms with frothed milk and topped with a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

HouHouYam = Very nice to drink

Finally the main dish that I’ve ordered. Seafood platter for 2 (RM49.90), It comes with a cold crab, fried prawn fritters, crispy fried dory fish, smoked salmon,calamari rings and four different kinds of sauce.

Somehow this crab looks like DOMOKUN!!!
